Establishing a close relationship with industry leaders will create synergies and facilitate the development of applied research ecosystem that builds solutions for some of the most pressing issues today. We believe that working with corporate leaders and visionaries will help transform these solutions into innovative, commercialized products or services. To maximize our impact, the PRECISE Center for Safe AI has decided to actively engage a broad range of stakeholders to ensure that AI research and development efforts are aligned with the needs of industry. As such, we are pleased to announce the formation of the PRECISE Industrial Advisory Board.
Our Advisory Board periodically reviews the research being done by the Principal Investigators (PIs) at PRECISE, and provides feedback on future direction and technical pivots. The Center will update the chairperson and technical advisors on the progress of current initiatives, seek their feedback on the objectives of existing and future projects, and address their questions and concerns. This effort will help foster a strong culture of cooperation, trust, and openness among the AI community. Board members, in return, gain priority access to exemplary talents and to technical information across a broad spectrum of research, as well as the opportunity to influence PRECISE’s research direction and to participate in a valuable forum for technical information exchange.
Our multi-disciplinary industry board members will play an integral role in advising PRECISE on the next phase of strategic growth for the Center, and serve as a sounding board for potential opportunities, aimed at accelerating the advancement of AI and related technologies.
