TRUCK2018 - Day 1 - 1550 - Jim Mullen

Jim brings an extensive portfolio of experience and providing senior leadership in the law arena – the vast majority occurring in the trucking sector.  

Prior to launching his own consulting firm in 2016, Jim served for more than a decade as the executive vice president and general counsel for Werner Enterprises, one of the five largest truckload carriers in the United States. His portfolio of responsibilities included the Legal, Safety, Risk, Human Resources and Government Affairs.

Prior to joining Werner, Jim practiced law as a trial attorney, representing a wide range of individual and institutional clients at the trial and appellate levels in federal and state court. He was inducted as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2008.

Jim obtained his law and undergraduate degrees from the University of Nebraska.
