We are looking for one or two self-motivated students for a summer internship. The goal is to study automatic instrumentation of software, both at C source code and binary levels. The work will evaluate existing technologies based on the needs of an on-going research project, and either adopt an existing tool or implement a prototype if no suitable solution is found. The chosen solution, whether adopted or implemented, would have to be integrated into the tool chain developed by the research project.
Selected applicants will be working within a larger research team of faculty, graduate students, and engineering staff. The project will offer broader opportunities to learn about software monitoring, programming languages, and software engineering.
The selection process will start immediately and continue until positions are filled.
Earlier start dates are preferred.
To apply, contact Dr. Oleg Sokolsky.
