TRUCK2018 - Day 1 - 1010a - Jeffrey Short

Jeffrey Short is a Senior Research Associate with the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI).  His areas of expertise include freight data management and analysis, transportation policy, and freight-related safety, technology, and performance measurement.  Mr. Short has played an integral role in the development of ATRI’s Freight Performance Measures (FPM) program working directly with vehicle probe data.  Using GIS and statistical computing tools, he has built systems for measuring travel time, speed and reliability of freight movement across the nation’s highway system, urban corridors and international border crossings.  Mr. Short holds a BA from Emory University and an MS from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
